Potterthon!

I write bearing news of more exciting events.

Sarah@Saz101 and Lauren@Lauren's Loquacious Literature are hosting Potterthon, which is basically a month-long celebration of all things Harry Potter!  There's been so much hype about it lately, and to bring things to an all-time high, these guys are running a bunch of events for all HP fans to take part in.  The last day, 31st July, is Harry's birthday, and this year, believe it or not, marks fifteen years of Hogwarts wizardry!

Now, I for one haven't read these books in years, so it's a great chance for me to re-read them and catch up on my favourite moments.  Like Hermione's Moment in PoA.  Take that, Malfoy!  And you, basilisk, you think a little venom is going to stop the great Harry Potter?  If Voldemort can't do it, what on Earth makes you think you can?  And as for you, Dudley, as far as I'm concerned, only having a tail is really quite generous.

Ahem.

      Hi! Lol. Sure thing. I've been debating whether or not I should get it, and I'm still undecided. If I do, though, you'll be the first to know. ;)

      Cool! I actually started reading PS even before Potterthon, so I can just pick up where I left off lol. Haha, I know! :)

    I love this Potterthon thing! I think it's a brilliant idea and feel like sobbing every time I have to admit I can't take part. :'( I wish I had more time.... Grrr. I hope you have fun with this! :D

    Can you believe it's been 15 years? It's some kind of bizarre paradoxical time-loopy thing! It's like it's been FOREVER and NO time at all!

    Thank you SO, SO much for helping publicize the event, we really appreciate it. I look forward to all your thoughts as the month unfolds, I'm discovering so many things that hadn't occurred to be before! (That's why my review is nearly 3000 words long and still not finished! And also because I can't stop gushing about Harry Potter :)

    I'm ashamed to admit that I'm late with the Harry Potter bandwagon. I only read the books when I was in my (I think) second year of high school... but, I don't my childhood was THAT sad...

But my older sister recently lent me her copies of the first three Harry Potter books (which she hasn't read yet either LOL) and I'm planning on starting soon! But your second paragraph just made me giggle like crazy! I love you for loving HP! <3

      I...I....*clutches heart and staggers back* There are people out there who haven't watched OR read Harry Potter? But....it's huge. It's been everywhere. It's been around for ages. *Faints*
